Network APIs powered Industry 4.0 

At this year’s Mobile World Congress (MWC), Orange and Shabodi showcased a groundbreaking demonstration that highlights the transformative power of Network APIs in the realm of Industry 4.0. By integrating Orange’s robust 5G infrastructure with Shabodi’s NetAware programmable network platform, Orange and Shabodi pave the way for enhanced production lines and optimized factory operations. 

Experience the demo :

Attendees witnessed a live demonstration featuring a 5G-connected camera and a temperature/humidity sensor capable of detecting anomalies in real-time.  Imagine a production line handling temperature-sensitive goods. Our solution allows remote monitoring of this process, gathering data during incidents without requiring an operator’s physical presence.  

When a sensor detects an abnormal temperature, the application uses Network APIs to identify the sensor’s location and status. It then establishes a high-quality video session from the nearest camera over the 5G network, enabling remote personnel to assess and address the situation promptly. 

This innovative setup illustrates how Network APIs can significantly improve efficiency and performance in manufacturing environments.
